Git repo request

CECS is setting up an experimental git repo for student use. The repo is set up now, but access requests are not yet automated. For now, access requests will be handled manually.

The form here is preliminary. Feel free to make suggestions on any of the content here.

This git repo is intended for use for any student or employee project within CECS. Inactive repos might get archived eventually if space becomes a concern.

To get read or write access to an existing repo, you need to contact the individual repo's administrator and ask.

To request creation of a new repo, fill out this form and the repo will be created as soon as your email address is verified. Please use a knightsmail or ucf.edu email address for verification. If this project is public, you are encouraged to also create a wiki page on this host as well describing and/or documenting it.

Note: The git repo will be accessed via ssh, which is only available on campus or through the UCF vpn. Students will probably not be able to access their repo after graduation.

Some of the contents of this form (marked with **) will be checked into your repo intially as README which you should update if the information changes. All fields are required execpt those marked as optional.
